The Witcher looks to be a fun game on the surface, but confusing controls and a frustrating fighting interface make it difficult to pick up and unpleasant to play. While the idea of different fighting tactics is intriguing, the fighting mechanics feel sloppy as if it was rushed out, maybe it's because I don't play many RPG's other than Fallout, but I find it very hard to enjoy the fighting in this game. The controls seem to be an afterthought when you go to jump and it pauses the game and you press "f" instead of "d" by accident and your camera violently spins around. The graphics are on par with titles of the same era, though graphical glitches have occurred on my setup, however this is probably caused by newer software and hardware that the game wasn't optimized to run on. This game isn't for me, but others seem to love it.
