The only reason for the "near" in that, is due to the fact that it doesn't have controller support. Aside from that, this game is amazing. Don't expect any real depth in plot or character interaction, but the combat and loot are fantastic! The only real problem with this game is stability. It hardly worked at one time. It works best, from my experience, in Linux running with Wine! Go figure. Still, it does run in Windows 7 64b.
I first bought this on-sale at Amazon for $7.50 two years ago and loved it. It was loaded with DRM and so when it came out late last year DRM-Free I bought another copy for $5 at Gamer's Gate. Now I see it on-sale for $15 here and I'm wondering what GOG is thinking. Its a great game, don't get me wrong, but very few games, even here, are worth more than $10.
