Having now played through most of the games in the collection (2/3 of the way through Yakuza 5 as of this writing), I can say I genuinely have fallen in love with this series. With so many games in the series (heck 2 more came out between me buying this and writing this review), I was always hesitant to jump in. So when I discovered this bundle, it gave me the chance to finally play the games and learn the entire story. And I'm glad I did. Do I recommend the Complete Series over the Bundle? It depends on what you want. If, like me, you want to absorb the entire Kiryu saga, go for it! If you just want a taste of the best this series has to offer, the bundle might be more your speed. Out of the 6 I have played so far, 0, Kiwami 1, and Kiwami 2 were definitely the highlights. 3 can be rough to get through (could definitely benefit from the Kiwami remake). 4 and 5 are better but 5 especially can feel bloated with content. Haven't gotten to 6 yet. I also intend on moving to the Like A Dragon games once I finish 6. So to recap: Want to play through the whole Kiryu arc of the franchise: get this package and enjoy! Just want to a get basic idea about those Kiryu and Majima blokes that Like A Dragon was hyping up: Go get the bundle and enjoy!
