IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946

Unplayable (like all games on GOG)

First the game did not launch. By chance I came across a post on the forums about getting it to run. However no matter what I do, all the environment is just black, with just the planes rendering. Im so sick of issues every time I purchase a game from this site.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault War Chest

One of the greatest shooters of its era

It still holds up. The levels are full of atmosphere.

The Mystery of the Druids

Extremely dated, but weirdly enjoyable

- Dated visuals - Awful voice acting - Long drawn out puzzles - Weirdly enjoyable despite the above

Empire Earth Gold Edition

Fantastic strategy game. A trend setter.

Performance : No issues running on Windows 10 Game : Absolutely fantastic game. There are multiple campaigns, so you will get months of play time. Visuals are dated more so than AoE, and other isometric 2d strategy games of the same era, but the gameplay is fantastic.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

Fun horror flick

Performance : No crashes to date on Windows 10. No issues with glitches or bugs. Game : Very fun. The gameplay is fairly straight forward. The town of Innsmouth is interesting to wander around. The visuals of the game are obviously dated, but are just modern enough to allow the town to be unsettling. The combat is dated, but no more so than any other game of that era. The game excels at tension, particularly when being chased. The simple mechanic of having to bolt doors closed, or block them with furniture really adds to the tension. The worst voice acting known to man, but its charming in its own way. Worth £1-£5

Soldier of Fortune: Platinum Edition

Enjoyable, but dated more than other FPS

Performance : No issues running on Windows 10. No crashes, or glitches. If you receive a message on Slack (or something that causes a notification to pop up), it can shift context and you need to tab to your desktop and re-enter the game. Game : Very enjoyable, albeit a lot more dated than other games of that era (Project IGI, Red Faction etc). Worth up to £5. A nice trip down nostalgia lane.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

Enjoyable, but runs poorly

Another game that runs poorly on GOG.

Theme Park

Unplayable due to crashes on Windows 10

The game crashes regularly (approximately every 15 mins). Its completely unplayable and should not be sold in this state.
