Even all this years later Limbo manages to impress me. The visual style is the definition of timeless. Just as beautiful today as it was back them. Probably one of the first indie games that managed to break throuogh a be a comertial hit. Also super fun and intriging in case you were wondering.

It's so buggy for me. I have not been able to play it after a year. It crashes about 10 minutes into the game or gets stuck in loading screens. Might be an AMD compatibility issue. Hope they fix it someday but I am moving on.

This game is my jam. A retro ps1 style JRPG with quality story, gameplay and art. My great caviat is that prompts show keyboard controls even when using a gamepad. I only play with a gamepad so this is frustrating to say the least. On top of that, when mapping gamepad buttons on the menu it doesn't show my xbox style controller botton names. It shows numbers. As if it is not recognizing my type of controller. I guess I have to say that the game is great but gamepad implementation is sad.

I love everything about this game. But there is one big flaw. No crossplay. Online is 100 percent dead and dedicated online communities seem to prefer the Steam version so I am left with nobody to play with. At least I own this game for reals unlike Steam people. happy but lonely.

I could not figure out the controls for this game. The settings menu doesn't even tell you what all the commands equate to in the keyboard. Don't even think about using a controller. If you do so know that the directional buttons are automatically mapped to the left thumb stick with no in-game way of remapping. If you've ever tried to play a fighting game with a thumb stick, you probably know that's a big issue. That and other reasons made me return this quite inaccessible game for modern standards.
