I like the game a lot, because it has the base building added and the settler management system, power armors galore and weapon crafting. Because fallout 4 also has all sorts of lore from older fallout versions and a bit history added to it with some funny characters and even some characters from past games, it allows to have a quite enjoyable and memorable experience. They actually used what was fascinating about fallout 2 - the scientists with the secret bases and a story line that actually can be completed in multiple ways, taking into account even your karma. I think, the more they keep from fallout 1 and 2, the better the game gets and this is true with fallout 4. Of course, a good example was F:New Vegas, because it had old devs working on the game, however, this is still true to the canon and quite fun.
It is a great game, even though the graphics are older and the release year is quite some time ago, this is a very captivating game. Even though the difficulty levels are insane even when you face normal levels, with a bit of tactics and a lot of failure you do get some level up. I have yet to see one magical item, but as far as I understand every faction uses something a bit different. I could put more stars, but it would be lying, since I was surprised how out of 35 battles I won maybe 3 - 4 and met attackers that far surpassed my levels. Starting a new game I did win all the battles finally, but the attackers were still decent, however, this time the dice roll was a bit more fair. And I did have to start 3 times to actually make some progress and even then, after a while if you fail to complete some objectives, money becomes an issue and you just can't afford a team. This is definitely for people who have no other issues in life and like the extra hard difficulty. I do like it, I keep playing it from time to time.
