I got this game through a bundle on Itch. The best way I can describe it is like Legend of Zelda on Steroids. The dungeons and combat are excellent, while also being quite difficult. The only real criticism I have is that the story kinda ends on a cliffhanger and you need the DLC(which I haven't played yet to get a proper conclusion. So keep that in mind before you get it.
This is a superb puzzle game that hooks you in with its presentation and keeps you going with puzzles that constantly shake up the core premise and forces you to think outside the box without being overly difficult or overstaying its welcome. If the trailer caught your interest, then purchase it. You won't regret it.
A competent zelda clone with an environment that will always surprise you. The best I can describe it is as though it was inspired by a waking dream/nightmare. Most of what you see is based on something in the real world, but presented in a fascinatingly strange way. Now it had its faults. The jumping is frustrating, getting to the end is a chore, and the story isn't really brought to life, which somewhat robs the ending of narrative impact. But I always found myself eager to explore just to see what surreal thing I'd find next. If you're ever in the mood to just be weirded out for 5 hours, then this game will suit you just fine.
Okay, if you've heard about this game by now, you probably already heard people rave about it's amazing story. And while the story is amazing, there are a couple less discussed qualities I'd like to bring up. First, its difficulty curve is insanely smooth. I only died a few times in Undertale to bosses, but their battles still felt tense I more than once beat a boss with low health and no healing items. The game also has a clever trick of tying easter eggs to certain healing items, which motivates people who are already good at the game to try harder. Second, the music is AWESOME. Just to give you an idea of what it's like, I used to think that all electronic music was crap, but this game changed my mind. Seriously, if you're at all thinking about getting this game, get it. It's only 10 dollars, and you owe it to yourself to at least try it.
