I've bought this game from a media market for about $3 but I may buy it from gog again for a similar price just to get rid of the CD. Like others said this game has a good balance between arcade and sim. It gives that adrenalin and speed feeling very successfully. You can spin at any corner. The immersion is good, the tracks are varied (city streets, mountain side, formula tracks, LeMans etc) My favorite was a japanese city at night with all the lights. The sound in the game is also successful. The only thing I remember annoyed me was when a car slightly touches you from a side, it blocks you from steering to the opposite side. The physics might annoy you a bit. This game is hours of fun if you do not take it too seriously. I highly recommend it.

You will enjoy this game if you like killing, looting and upgrading your char to a demi god in the end , sort of first person view Diablo I do not understand people who criticize the story, movies, books, games revolve around the cliche types of stories. having finished it, my opinion : Pros : -Huge world to explore, I personally liked the atmosphere of the desert and dark forest -Ability to combine the same type of items, makes looting enjoyable, lots of drop that helps upgrade stuff -Graphics are fine, armors look cool Cons : -Inventory system is a bit annoying. I found the inventory too small for collecting armors. Armor names are not very creative, you need to use inventory of the mounts if you like collecting stuff just in case. -Voice acting is poor. NPC names are funny, they seem to be generated by a program or something. The world is dull in terms of NPCs -The mount refuses to walk over some small hills, you need to get off the mount and call it by whistle. It can get stuck in walls, rocks too. Had to load a previous save because of that. The game's artistic side except the graphics is very poor but the rest is fine. This game is made by Germans if I am not wrong. Overall I enjoyed it a lot due to the play style. $10 is a fair price for it. Even pirated games cost $6 in my country.

The gameplay may seem difficult with the wrong character/weapon combination. You got to choose wisely. Some reviewers mentioned that your fire passes through enemies, it is about the aiming system not collision detection. You need to shoot exactly when the pointer is red, otherwise you will miss even if the enemy is in your face. I only had this problem with bows and enemies in melee range. The bows work fine at middle and long range. Pros : -Very nice music that fits the nice dark/fantasy atmosphere. -Ability to play levels with different characters. -Nice story telling. Cons: -Some enemies that jump like kangaroos and they jump unrealisticly high, pretty annoying. Some enemies jump into lava, rift and die. It is funny :) -Enemy archers' arrows can pass through walls, barrels etc and hit you at times. This is the only serious problem of the game in my opinion. I really enjoyed the game a lot and I believe it is worth the money I paid for it.
