Horn of the Abyss (HotA) is the best version of Heroes of Might and Magic III available as of 2025. It includes HoMM3 HD+ by default, which greatly improves compatibility and performance on modern PCs. I tested it, if installing Heroes of Might and Magic III: Horn of the Abyss even without installing the Complete edition beforehand, everything works perfectly. "Just install and play". However, one thing is still unclear to me: Horn of the Abyss takes up about 686 MB, while the original Complete edition is around 960 MB. Dungeon Siege II was a good game. Looks like old diablo. Not sure that now there will be those feelings as before. Game is morally and technically outdated. But if you want to nostalgic, why not?
this one of the best versions for xcom franchise. Better than XCOM 2, 2016years. there is little customization of characters.
