I've been waiting for this game since it's debut teaser trailer. I don't wanna go into much detail about why this game is good nor bad, there are a ton of reddit posts, YT videos that objectivly disect the game. Let me state that this is my FIRST and probably LAST preorder! I like to adhere to the NO PREORDER mentality, but this time I gave in because it's about CDPR, a trustworthy "pro consumer" company behind The Witcher game series. CP2077 was SO WELL presented on the deep dive videos and the 48min gameplay video and they kept pumping and reving the hype. After playing through the main story and completing ~75% of side quests the game left me disappointed. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful world but it's just kinda feels...empty? I was promissed a lot more, yet they delivered just a fraction of what they hyped. The story starts out with a good pace but feels rushed towards the end (probably due to cut content/management rushing the release). I truely believe and hope that this is another NMS situtation and that the game will get fixed and updated with the cut content/mechanics in a few months time...but now it's just not worth it. I plan to revisit the game in a couple of months once the bugs get ironed out and some additional content gets added in. I'll rate the current state of this game based on a 10 star system. Visuals & sound: 10/10 Story and side quests: 8.5/10 Game mechanics: 4.5/10 - Far, far away from an RPG! UI/UX: 5/10 Replayability: N/A - Not in the current state!
