I remember playing this over 56k modem with my friends, and this game was awesome back in the 90s. It ran really well on most PCs. We never bothered with single player. If you can get the multiplayer working with a friend, this game can be very fun. It's fun trying to beat each other up with all the car weapons.
It's made in Unity, so it may be a little buggy, but it's definitely an impressive game for an indie studio. I plan on finishing it. I'm about an hour or two into it ATM.
The title pretty much says it all -- It's unique, and it's a point-and-click game. It also seems pretty well-made -- I didn't experience one crash even after hours of playing. This game is neat. Glad I bought it. As with most games, though, get it on sale -- you'll feel better about the purchase, but you shouldn't feel bad because it IS a good game. I still plan on finishing it, but just haven't gotten to it. For what it's worth, I WANTED to leave this review because I felt the game deserved it. I can't think of much else to say.
You really can't play this with a gamepad, as far as I can tell, because you can't open neither the in-game inventory menu or the main game menu from the gamepad. You HAVE to use the keyboard, unless there's something I'm missing. I'm one of those people who don't like to use the keyboard/mouse a lot of the time, especially for games like this (I'd rather use an Xbox controller, which works fine except for being able to access the menus -- there's just no way I can figure out to do it, and you can't remap a key or anything to a gamepad button for the inventory menu, so you can pretty much play the whole game except for being able to access your inventory, etc.).
Someone said all children are removed and all drugs are called chems, but THAT'S HOW THE GAME WAS DESIGNED. They didn't change that. Idk about everything else, but THOSE things are how the game ALWAYS WAS. I can't speak to anything else because I haven't played their copy yet, but just wanted to say that
