Cyberpunk 2077

Buggy at release like all

Running it on a laptop with GTX 1060, I faced quite a few bugs(namely my character's hair disappearing all the time), but nothing game breaking. Otherwise, Night City is amazing to go around in and discover. Driving and AI can be impoved, sure, but how many RPGs have offered these mechanics before. I am certain that with time these issues will be ironed out. Technical difficulties aside, there is a very potent game in here, with an amazing story and amazing performance and production. The options may not be as impactful as in other RPGs, but they are still do change things, especially the endings. The side quests are still top notch despite not reaching Withcer 3's heights, but they offer their own substory in the world. If you wanna wait for the bugs to be squashed, that is fine, but I feel many people are being harsh on what is yet another landmark in gaming.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

"Lesbomancy"

yeah, this game happened before gamergate and it shows. Thank God Witcher 3 is better in the writing department

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Old gameplay, story a bit crass

I know this was pretty good back in 2007, considering its competition, but the gameplay just doesn't hold up at all. Play on easy maybe, or have some god mode to enjoy this. nowadays. Thankfully, I didn't come across many bugs, so kudos to CDPR for polishing(no pun intended) the game. Still, play this if you are curious, but I don't think it holds up well, especially with Wticher 3 or even Witcher 2 having come out.

Spec Ops: The Line

Serviceable gameplay, great story

I said it motly in the title. Don't expect gameplay that is very deep. It's a cover based TPS with enemy AI that sucks. Hoewever, the story in the game is very well written, you feel like you are playing a blockbuster most of the time. But unlike many blockbusters, it doesn't just focus on the action for the sake of it. The game actually deconstructs and criticizes war and to a certain extent military shooters. Also it's on GOG, DRM free. On the 80% off sale that it's been on, it's a no brainer
