Never understood single player only to fullfill as at times pure multiplayer games didn't sell due lack of network connection . the modem days. BUT the multiplayer, woohaa, Soo much fun, god mode (lol a TRUE good mode) or WUF.... Drunk missile & Firewall missile, so many ways to beat up buddies (or get beaten)
Superb. So much to explore, and the feel of being there. Time to go Citadel once more, visited 10+ times every 2 years,now GOGO allowed it run on modern system. And still scares when suddenly door starts open behind u revealing security bot2. Only negative might be controls of Classic edition,I like the enhanced edition contrrls way much more. But when You master them, all is ok. Only whished some window modes would have had keyboard shortcut. As i recall this was 1st games giving u options to use all lean,crawl,stance. Atmosphere is greatest.
i am cwa addicted. I think original game coming to mature age, 20 years this summer. Time seem to fly when fun. Still going strong. The only game i keep playing constantly playing last decades. Not the easies one to master, neither is life... Realism hits, maybe original AI was quite stupid to command. But huge community and correct addons makes it lots better , and have kept it in my list last two decades. Note, this is NOT brainless shooter, these take hours.Like Arma, free multiplayer is the best . Good games are hard to master. Note it has energy base system, so gettign heavy tank up hill takes time with motor's resources,likewise downhill will happen fast and unstoppable at steeper hills. Game maybe aged now in 24 years, but the freedom and relative realism has well kept over years. Still my favourite mp almost every night fights. And gog 1.99 version was easy to convert back to my favourite 1.96
