Once you use a guide the game really isn't that hard or in depth. If you've gone back to Daggerfall and liked it, it's worth giving Arena a shot.
Only a few hours in but it feels like the lovechild of Diablo and Dark Alliance.
If you tried out any of the old Fallouts, Baldur's Gates or Planescape Torment because they were classics and you enjoyed them, you should absolutely give Arcanum a go.
Anyone who hates it doesn't understand how the game works or hasn't given it a chance, or doesn't love what the Elder Scrolls is truly about.
As long as you have a guide. Very important game, probably wouldn't recommend it to younger gamers.
