Deadlight: Director's Cut

Great game for Halloween!

If you can get this game on one of it's many sales go for it, it's much more refined than the original version that came out in 2012. The controls are a little slippery but there's something so awesome about the zombies charging towards you from the background in a horde, really thrilling. The game definitely has some flaws and the story is really weird with an absolutely demendted ending if you beat it on "Nightmare" mode but it's an fun little game you can finish on a spooky night in October.

Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut

Buggy mess on PC

This rating is not a reflection on the game itself, which I played and enjoyed years ago back on the 360, but rather this version which constatly crashed and eventually was rendered unplayable. I have a 3080 and a very powerful PC, this game has no option to adjust it's resolution and insisted on running at 720p, whatever fine, this game isn't about the graphics! I get to part 3 of chapter 1, the hospital and right at the end of the nightmare sequence, it crashed, not once but EVERY TIME!!! I tried reinstalling, playing back to that point, same thing, then eventually my wired X-Box controller just stops working with it. Oh well, I used to use a mouse and keyboard for PC games back in the day I can do this! Nope! Totally broken. I only paid a couple bucks getting it on sale but still, what a disappointment. Still a great game if you can find a version that works!
