I played the game on Linux with Wine and it worked almost flawlessly. Regarding the game, the most important aspect is: this is a very light adventure game. There are not many puzzles. If you like puzzle-heavy games, this is not for you. Maybe try Thimbleweed Park instead. On the other hand, if you like story-heavy games, this may be a good choice. The game is separated into several smaller mysteries that you need to solve that are embedded into a greater story arch. It is fun to get to the bottom of the individual cases, but somehow it didn't fully click with me. I can't put my finger on it, but nothing felt special, everything felt serviceable. I guess I'm still waiting for another Primordia ...
This is not much of a game. It's a nice story-telling experience, but the game parts are trivial and at times cumbersome. I love books, movies and games that depict societies that are different from what I know and it actually makes it interesting if the ideas do not completely line up with my own beliefs. The game does that rather well most of the time but it does have at least one instance where it outright calls the player stupid - and it doesn't make any sense with how the game world is depicted and described. This in-your-face lecturing stands out like a sore thumb and breaks immersion horribly for no reason. But no, I don't deduct a star for that. All in all it's a solid story-telling game. If you like cyberpunk and story games you may want to pick this up. I bought it for 33% off and felt like that was a fair price for a rather short game.
The add on is a lot easier than the later levels of the base game. The new magma mechanic is a bit underwhelming, but at least they made the stock auction more bearable. All in all it doesn't really matter, because I just enjoy the chilled-out game play.
A very basic stealth game. It is a fun little filler game, but in the end it annoyed me far too much, because of: - Controls and unclear visual cues: it happened far too often that my character died because it wasn't clear where you could/could not walk, or that I lost a precious second because I got stuck on a corner of a wall. - No saves: at some point the levels reach a size where it gets very annoying if you get caught near the end and have to redo the whole level. - No speed-up function: even in this simple stealth game I wished to speed up time more than once.
