This is literally the best RTS ever. Even today I am yet to find a strategy game that beats it. The waypoint system, the queuing system, and the sheer number of units available make this a game that you have to try.
This game is amazing. The plot and dialog feel very authentic and you really get sucked into what is going on. With a joystick, this game is a dream to handle. Check out the open source Freespace 2 project and download and install all of fancy new graphical updates to really enjoy this classic reborn.
