I had the most fun freeroaming and blowing stuff up and being a menace to the Germans. I cleared all the dots from the map. Where’s my achievement GOG? Some major bugs: During the mission “Needs of the Few” when you have to save Veronique from being executed. There’s a part during the getaway where I kept getting the message “Dr. Kwong has died” even though dr. Kwong isn’t in the mission. But he somehow appeared in the streets and kept getting killed by the soldiers that were chasing us. This caused automatic mission failure and was very annoying. After searching the net I found others complaining about the same bug. But after restarting the entire mission it didn’t happen again and I was able to finish it. Seems to be a random bug which can happen or not. I later found out it can happen during freeroam too. Not just dr. Kwong but also other important characters just randomly spawn sometimes and if they die you get a mission failure. Second bug. The Silver Claw mk. II racing car that you unlock with the very last mission. It can happen that the car becomes unavailable in your garage even though you unlocked it. Found others complaining about this bug as well. But you can find the car again where you last parked it before saving. If you don’t remember where you parked it you’ll have to load the last save game when you still had it. You can avoid this situation by always parking the Silver Claw mk. II in the garage if you want to keep it. Thankfully it’s not the best car anyway: that’s the Aurora. Last bug. This one is kinda funny. I didn’t come across it but learned about it from youtube. It’s called the “secret ending” there. I'm out of space for this review so you'll have to look it up. There's no cutscene but it's a way to speedrun the game. There are also some minor bugs like the sound of airplanes staying long after they are gone but they’re not game breaking. It’s a known fact that the game was rushed because reasons so I don’t hold it against the devs.
No way to disable achievements. Cheats supposedly disable achievements but after enabling it I still get them. Game was much more fun when you could just randomly do things without any reason to do them. After reinstalling it several times the achievements keep putting me off. Thanks for making me feel old. Gonna uninstall again.
