This latest version of Master of Orion is great. But, it's not perfect. Certain fixes and improvements are needed. For instance, the game treats the weapons aquired from the conquest of Orion as the best. But, when looking at each weapon's ability, Orion's weapons aren't the best. Plasma beam is better than death ray. Adamantium armor is better than Orion's armor. Automatic improvements to ship weapons and armor replace old weapons and armor with those from Orion. If Orion's weapons and armor are truly better, then make them better. It would be nice to have a Hall of Fame of top scores to give players something to shoot for. Lastly, there's a glitch when using the custom ability of omniscience. Pirates sometimes appear in systems that either have a ship occupying that system or when something is already built in that system. Even with these shortfalls, this version of Master of Orion is very entertaining. Will we see a newer version anytime soon?
