I still play this after many, many years. It's a blast!
The game seems boring and stupid. There's a lot of immature chatter between teenagers or 20 somethings that just annoying. I quit playing the game when the other characters wanted to play truth or dare around a camp fire. I thought this was supposed to be sci-fi, cult or something with action. I think the game is just stupid, and I regret spending money on it.
It gets three stars because I spend more time trying to troubleshoot why the game flakes out so much. Sometimes, no ammo will load and guns won't shoot, when there's ample ammo loaded. Sometimes, the avatar walks so slowly, it's impossible to get anywhere in a timely manner. Sometimes, the video screws up and parts of the screen freeze graphics. Randomly, the screen will not refresh exactly the bottom half. So, I can't see or select all options. The game seems fun, and I used to be able to play it normally. Now, after several reloads. it just flakes out and becomes unplayable. Maybe, I should have given it 1 star. While the design and game play seem great, in delivery, it's just unplayable. So, 1 star for value of the game, and 5 stars for intended design.
