There's not that much to do in this game, you walk a lot, sometimes on the same paths... but the story... you really feel like you are there. The characters seem credible, the story is nice, you really get captivated and want to see what is going to happen, moving from cliffhanger to cliffhanger until the ~satisfying ending. And the games deals with some serious problems, some that I actually went trough while I was playing this gem. Give it a try, it deserves it.
This game, with it's amazing fascinating story, has managed to give me a horrific feeling. The set-up for the game is creepy and original, you go trough multiple sites on the bottom of the ocean trying to save what remained of humanity. The monsters, gosh, horrible and disturbing, fit for the horror genre. However it's not just the monsters and the tension when they are chasing you, the story is, somehow unpleasant but captivating. I recommend giving this a try, even if you are not a fan of horror games, this one gives you a "safe" difficulty, making the monsters harmless, yet still creepy.
The game, despite it's short lenght, managed to captivate my attenion. Sure the puzzles aren't that hard, it's a liniar story after all... But what a great story! It manages to give you a weird sensation, despite not having jumpscares... the story is just great and... disturbing. Give it a try, it's free after all. Just remember there is no happy ending here.
It's a great detective game in itself, but the fact that you have supernatural deduction powers, and the main mistery of the game is something ripped out of a Horror/ Fantasy game adds to the thrills of the game. The story offers some twists, and adds a little bit lf every type of story. It's a great buy, especially on sale.
Despite the fact that the game is quite old (5 years by the time of this review), the game keept itself pretty fresh... It's fast paced. Has a large variety of monsters. Nice maps. The soundtrack... well, ok, it get's annoying after some time, and it's loud, but given the fact that this game doesn't have a spcific story I just muted it and played some music so I was fine with it. The graphics are ok, but you won't be playing something like this for graphics... anyway... glad it works on my potato.
I get that A LOT of you are annoyed that the game suddenly changed, maybe for the better, maybe for the worse. Honestly... I wasn't really a beta player, so I don't miss the old card effects. What I can tell though... the game looks way better, the interface, the whole 3D gameboard and leader... it just works for me, so I give this game a THUMBS UP.
