I am thoroughly enjoying this point and click game. The story is a product of its time (the late 0s/early 10s) but for me is never boring. The riddles are not too difficult, especially if you plan p&c games on a regular basis. Is it realistic as a police procedural (CSI techs not wearing gloves as far as I can see)? No, but I find it does not negatively impact the flow of the game and I will just assume everyone is professional. There are some bugs, primarily that the UI can become unresponsive or slow at points. Some of the animations can clip if graphic are set to lowest settings. Overall a good and fun game. Though the game does not work on Apple Silicone natively, it does work quite well via Crossover (M4 Mini).

I loved playing this game in '98 and so bought it to play it again. Sadly I can't even get past the intro. My Macbook Pro (I7, 2011, OS10.10) won't get past the starting titles (Lucasarts screen) without crashing the computer so badly all that is left is to reboot. I'm not sure there was any QC done on the mac version prior to release.
