Some fun settings and ideas but: - The story is very bland. The most interesting part, the occult/technology, is brushed over very quickly. - The gameplay gets quite tedious. Once you've got all the weapons and the perks (those that you want - others are a tedious grind) the fighting becomes quite dull, with all enemies in the late game generally being bullet sponges you just have to be patient to defeat, including the final boss. - The ending is incredibly anti climatic. It's obviously intended to set up a sequel but that's not excuse to not end with something - anything! - to mark the occasion of the end of the game. Nope... fade to credits. Only worth a play if you have nostalgia for this game, or are a diehard FPS fan who wants to tick it off the list.
