After hearing good things about Sanitarium here on GOG and elsewhere I decided to give this game a shot. Unfortunately, the reviews saying that the game is highly unstable are correct and it depends greatly on your system. The game consistently crashes after solving one of the first few puzzles, making my actual progress in-game minimal. I've tried every forum recommendation, every configuration, and even every 3rd party program I could think of to get this to work, but to no avail. (For the curious I'm running Windows 7 HP x64). The little bit I did manage to play - short as it was - did leave me wanting to play more, though, so if you're willing to take a gamble with Sanitarium's stability give it a shot.
