I really enjoyed the art style and the tight controls but was always put off by a lack of feeling any progression due to limited item & weapon drops. Anyways, that one complaint has gone away after some updates because I can't stop playing it now! Every run I go on now seems to have something new; there's a lot of content. Mini-games, challenges, weird character interactions, new weapons that are very creative and items that can synergize with other weapons and items you may already have! Deaths seem fair and are due to your error, not some obtuse game mechanic or other bs. If you like games similar to The Binding of Isaac or Nuclear Throne then this is the game for you!
