I barely played the original back on PSX, but I always thought I would someday play it to finish. 10 years ago, I bought the PC ports on Steam, and while interesting, there were just game breaking bugs that would always crash to desktop. So it was again not meant to be for me. Now come this remaster, and so far I haven't encountered any crash nor bug that would hinder progress. It's also pretty fun if you enjoy block puzzles. I'm just glad I can finally enjoy the game.
With patch 1.5, this is exactly when the game should've been released. As it is, the game is polished enough to warrant a full purchase. It's no more rough like it was on launch day. With that said, if you've been waiting to get your hands on it, well now is the time to pick it up! There are still a few glitches here and there (albeit rare), but nothing game-breaking or immersion-breaking like it was before. The driving on KB+M has also been drastically improved, as well as NPC AI. I waited until now to pick it back up, and now I'm hooked on it.
Spec Ops est un bon shooter à la 3e personne, il n'est cependant pas ce qu'il paraît être, c'est-à-dire un shooter plutôt générique. Le gameplay, certes, n'a rien d'innovant, mais c'est le récit qui domine ce jeu! Si vous avez vu et aimé le film Apocalypse Now de Francis Ford Coppola, vous allez sûrement apprécier cette histoire. Tout deux découle de la même source: la nouvelle romanesque. Si vous êtes en quête d'un jeu qui saura vous garder en haleine par la qualité de son récit, n'hésitez pas à jouer celui-ci!
