I will keep this short. I am a HUGE post apocalyptic fan and of course what made me one are the Max Max movies so I bought this as soon as it was released. There are two views on this game. If you are a Mad Max fan or even just a fan of (REAL) post apocalypse (atomic wars and NO zombies) this is truly a must buy. You can tell that the people who made this game ARE fans of Mad Max. This game truly immerses you in the world, I would say taking place some months before the 4th movie. I did not give this game 5 stars and that is because it gets repetitive, VERY repetitive. If you're not a Mad Max fan you WILL get bored. Conclusion: Post apoc fan or Mad Max fan = BUY, if you like open world games and don't know who Max Rocatansky is... I would maybe look elsewhere.
I don't usually review games, so when I do, it's a special game. This game is probably the best story I have ever played. The only game which comes close in my opinion would be Mass Effect. The story is both original and on the other hand a version of Heart of Darkness. Add a very good, albeit slightly generic shooter, perfectly fine graphics, and you have the only game I have ever bothered to get all achevements for. For your OWN SAKE BUY THIS GAME!!!
So I played this. To call it a game is not right. It's an interactive movie which doesn't really take your choices in account either way. Mix in some small minigames and you have a very empty shell of a "game", altough it has nice graphics and voice overs by the original cast of the series. I would not recomend this game, honestly if you want a GAme of Thrones game, buy the rpg by cyanie studios. While not perfect it has a good stor and is actually a "game". I hope Telltale can start make good adventure games again and stop these inteactive movies.
Well I remember this game, high off fallout 2 I would buy anything Black Isle would have sneezed out. Sadly they revamped the whole fight system into some sort of real time fighting, similar to diablo. My estimated guess is that they saw the success of Diablo 1 and tried to emulate it. Sadly it ruined what I thought would have been a rather nice RPG.
