I've read so many people complaining about the campaign, but that's actually my favorite part of this game. It starts off fairly simple and easy to beat, but each level it gets more difficult and builds on everything that you learned in the previous missions. I have played the campaign on every mode from easy to apocalypse (in which I could not get far.) My son also likes this game, although he prefers the survival mode, he also played the campaign and liked it. I wish they would put out a DLC of another campaign just for those of us who really really liked the campaign and just about everything in this game.

I buy a lot of games searching for that certain feeling - the feeling of being totally immersed in the game and having all of my emotions tied into it. The feeling of having time go by and you don't even notice it. Most games fail. Or they fail within a short period of time. Frostpunk does not fail. It somehow manages to make you work hard enough to link you into the storyline without micromanaging every little thing . I have played so many hours on it now and I am eagerly awaiting Frostpunk 2.
