A classic 2.5D platformer from the late 90s, but not exactly in a perfect state. Not only has the gameplay and graphics aged a fair bit (the lack of a save system on PC is baffling) but the port has a few issues that aren't present on the PS1 version of the game: 1. Music just stops playing once it hits the end of the track. No looping or anything, and each track is so short that you're pretty much garunteed to spend 60%+ of the levels with no music playing, turning it into a horror game. 2. The controls are really sluggish. When you try to use the double jump (one of two unique abilities availabe) it only responds some of the time, making it very difficult to actually land the trickier jumps. Overall, it's still a fun game, even with the bugs, but it's not going to have much to offer unless you're already into it.

This is literally my first experience with the game and I am having a blast. It's a very engrossing, immersive sim, and there are reasons why this is still considered a master-piece to this day. Highly recomend that you install the fan update to smooth out some of the bugs that even the GOTY edition suffers from, but beyond that, it's shockingly playable in 2025.

Dungeon Keeper Gold is a fantastic management simulator that tasks you with creating your own evil dungeon to rule over with fear and tyranny, allowing you to work against the generic hero for once. To this day, this game is incredibly playable and Bullfrog pulled off something spectacular when they created this beast.

A great strategy/management game from Bullfrog, the creators of Dungeon Keeper and ThemePark. You start out as a junior hospital manager, and have to create and maintain various hospitals through disease outbreaks, politics in the ministry of medicine, and even visits from the grim reaper himself. It's a fun game with a good ramp that keeps the game giving you new features to try out as you keep making your way through the title. Some minor glitching during audio playback sometimes (it keeps hanging for a second) but beyond that, this is a supremely playable version of the game.

Warcraft II is a fantastic RTS title that was a staple of the genre back in the 90s. It took a somewhat cliched storyline (Humans vs Orcs? Woopee?) and made it interesting with the heaps upon heaps of personality that they managed to inject into everything in the game. In terms of gameplay, it's nearly endless. Not in the same sense of Warcraft 3, but you have two fantastic compaigns (humans and orcs, naturally) as well as a couple of great expansions that expand things even further. Of course, you also have skirmish mode which allows you to use a whole bunch of random maps, as well as creating your own maps as well. All this without even beginning to talk about the Battle.Net features (Do the battle.net feature's even work? I have no idea because there's so much content without the online stuff that I haven't even checked yet.) Also the cheats are really memorable, which is a bonus.

If you're looking for a turn-based strategy game with a fantasy bent then this is the game for you. Still incredibly playable despite it's age, and relatively intuative to boot. You control one of four different Fantasy Generals and have to help liberate the lands from the evil Shadowlord using whatever means necessary. During the capaign you gain gold to spend on upgrading or buying units, as well as researching new unit types to use as your army develops. Starting out with smaller-scale skirmishes, you're deep in the throws of huge battles before you know it
