... but it's just irritating bugfest. The first part of a game "path of the giant" went smoothly and is really nice experience. But when I started the second part "path of the ferryman" it all went wrong. There is reoccuring annoying "crystall bug" in which game brake and You are forced to play once again in another (suboptimal) sequence. There is a "sign of [enemy type]" bug. In which not only next game but all games to the next sign are flooded by one type of enemy. There are still mechanics (like changing bonuses) that does not work and was never fixed. In general, don't buy this game. It's only worth it for free.

Great game. It's not P:T. Storywise it's much worse. But it's better than any other contemporary isometric cRPG. Much, much better story than Pillar's of Eternity, Dragon Age: Origins or Divinity original sin. Big amount of text, and It's very, very interesting text. You just want to read into this game more and more. You can avoid almost all fighting and it's great. And mechanics are brilliant (unless You are not some Icewind fighting freak). This game has it's flaws. But in comparison to other contemporary cRPG it is ultimate story-driven RPG.

This game is absolutely great turn strategy experience. It's like HoMM 3 + Master of Magic + interesting plot. Unfortunetly it's also very demanding game. Even on begginer level one can not just play for the plot - every wrong move is harshly punished. That's why I give it ony 4 of 5 stars. I understand that game was design to be hardcore oldschool experience, but still with plot better than any HoMM camaign it's sad, that I can not recommend this game to a casual player. And now, I;m going back to play Eador: Genesis. Just... one... more... turn...
