Seriously, if you grew up reading Gibson, you must've liked AD&D. And if you ever wondered what it would loook like if the two were fused togetherm, then Shadowrun is your answer. The world is amazing, I can't recall the last time I saw magic and tech fused so well together - they do it better than Eberron imho. The world and the rules aside - this game is just so well done. The visual style is great, it has its own distinct vibe and it's extremely well put together. I'm on the first one (Shadowrun Returns), can't wait to play the other ones too. Total thumbs up, this game is making me want to check out the tech genre more (Deus Ex, Watchdogs, Cyberpunk, Sleeping Dogs) - it feels like Shadowrun somehow hugely influenced all the other ones downstream. Can't recommend Shadowrun enough.
