I first played this game 6 years ago and decided to play it again in 2025. Narative wise this is not the strongest game in the series and definitely the short. However it remains my favorite game to come back on from the Deus Ex franchise as it retains the flavor of the original world I've grown attached to along with some great new abilities. To put it short, this is one of my favorites 8/10 games. The story, the writing and the gameplay find a balance between each other where although none shine in particular, they feel great when it all comes together
