I have just completed the game with this GOG version. The games okay but the driving begins to drag a bit and the respawing at check points can get grating. The game worked fine but I set the game short cut so it ran at 60 FPS to stop the bouncing bugs, I followed the GOG tech article to do it. I did not use the unoffical fix so I got the Jackle Tape bug but I wasnt bothered about collecting them anyway. I also set the game to run at DirectX 9 after a man fell out of a tree in the intro taxi ride when I tried DirectX 10 mode.
I have recently finished this GOG version and its as good as I remember it being not long after release. Its not perfect but still fun. I had to change a setting in a file to get rid of a five minute not responding bug on loading screens but once done I had no problems playing the game, I found the fix on the GOG forum.
Its a fun slash 'em up with some nice abilities such as restoring health by draing enimies and bullet time. The story isnt that good and some points of the game can be frustrating but youll probably not need a guide to finish it. Its worth the price buts its not a classic.
