I played a lot of this game when it early access as well as many updates into the full release. I enjoy the crafting in it, but most of this game feels like it never left early access stages. There are plenty of graphical and spelling errors as well as many half voiced lines that do not even match the text. A lot of characters did not even have voiced lines at all and they have still even been trying to update the game to give your marriage candidates character stories and quests. I cannot reccommend this game to anyone, especially since it has been a while since release and the updates have barely made a difference.
Most of this game is amazing, I loved how each decision really felt like it mattered in the plot and how each character really felt alive with their own motives. I had a blast running through this story.. Up until the end, which turned everyone into super humans that just melted this beautiful plot into a pile of trash. I was so disappointed, but I kept going thinking maybe it would all make sense. It doesn't.
This game is a blast to play with friends or alone. It's full of stupid humor that will at the very least give your a good chuckle. It's definitely a game that you should play in doses, or else it tends to get repetitive or the jokes just seem to lose their spark if you are at it for more than a few hours. A lot of the negative reviews I've seen on it center around it being immature and not serious enough for the visual novel fans, I can understand where they're coming from but this is also a game that doesn't take itself seriously at all.
This game will kick you while you're down time and time again, but each time you learn something new. It's challenging, exciting and always seems to be different each playthrough. With how many ways you could play this game the possibilities are endless. There are a lot of ways it could be improved, this the 4-star review, but it's still a game that entertains me time and time again.
