you'd think who the hell thought to mix "cosy fishing sim" with "eldrith horrors beyond human comprehension"??? but black salt didn't just do it, they did it exceptionally well. you get used to the horrors pretty quickly honestly, it's weird f*cked up fish i don't want to look at for too long but my job is to haul them up and sell them, probably as foods, i mean if you spend half a minute thinking about it then fish is just food. what *else* do you even do with fish, even if they are the most f*cked up fish you have seen?? the horrors are made into our everyday consumption. and it's also massive things lurking underwater but have you considered the sea is so beautiful? have you not looked at the shimmering blue tentacles the size of a building swaying underwater and felt an alien beauty that draws you in?? salute to black salt for just. getting it. they just get it. 10/10 vibe of a game
