Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Great, But Not Really

At first, I REALLY liked this game. I don't know what happened, but after a certain point, I lost all interest in the game and it was just boring.

Inventory Menu Unusable

The inventory menu is stuck and I cannot get out of it, rendering the game unplayable. Probably a cool game, but I guess I will never know.

Fallout: London

Doesn't Work Yet

Game just freezes and crashes upon starting. Cloud saves are off and version is rolled back. Not sure what the problem is, but I'm sure they'll fix it at some point. I am going to uninstall for now and wait a while for a more stable version.

Could be Great

Fun game with a pretty cool atmosphere. Unfortunately, it is somewhat ruined by slow, clunky controls.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition

Extremely Disappointing

I really wanted to like this game and I thought that it would turn out well, but it didn't. All in all, the game is just not fun. Everything is a tedious chore that I would rather not do. If I wanted to feed chickens and the dog, I would go do so IRL (spoiler alert: I don't have chickens or a dog, because I don't feel like feeding them). The melee combat is super tedious and not at all fun. I respect the attempt to make it more realistic and do try something different, but it simply isn't fun. The archery is slightly entertaining, but it takes a lot of arrows to kill things. Making choices is a big part of this game, but some of the choices I would like to make are chosen for me, which is somewhat annoying. Invisible walls everywhere. It looks like I can go that way, but I can't. I run into an invisible with 3 guys chasing me. Welp, guess it's time to die because I can't step over that shrub. I can't stand invisible walls! Controls are clunky and unpredictable. Clicking a mouse button to attack is more like a request. It may or may not happen, and I have no clue what the permissible variables are; seems random. You can climb over some fences and rocks, but not others that are the same size.

The Evil Within

Terrible Game

This game is a mess. It's basically Metal Gear with a chainsaw guy and lots of blood. Also, the contols are really bad.

Boring

This game is really boring, and the controls are sluggish and unresponsive. No gripping ledges, or anything to that effect. Invisible borders and way point markers destroy any survival aspect of this "open world" game. You know, come to think of it, you spend more time in caves, than in the "open world". Speaking of caves, they are done terribly in this game. ridiculous "puzzles" that require you to slide giant pillars around to make it to the other balcony. That is not a puzzle, that is frustrating busy work. Honestly, this game is a walking simulator with minor survival additions. Glad I bought it on discount. Two thumbs down!
