The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Meh

This game's okay. I don't know what all of the 5-star ratings are for. It's no Fallout 3 or Skyrim. It reminds me of a single-player Neverwinter Nights (because of BioWare's Aurora engine) with a unique storyline and better graphics. Combat is somewhat unique, but very repetitive. The alchemy system is pretty boring, especially compared to Oblivion or Skyrim. Oh, and did I mention that it randomly crashes on my MacBook Pro with Retina Display with enough frequency to seriously detract from the overall experience. Lastly, I can't seem to access any of the wonderful value-added features of the extended edition. No maps, music, video interviews, etc. The only thing in the .dmg file was Witcher.app, and that only allows me to play the game.
