Unfortunatelly I cannot say anything good aboud this "game", as it's not even a full fledged sequel, it's just SR2 enveloped in russian mod of doubtfull quality. Game balance is non existant, easier difficulties are so easy, player gets bored after couple of hours, harder ones are unplayable without cheating and quickly turn itnto horrible chore. Design of new battle maps is perfect example "how not to do it" and robot pathfinding is non existant as it were, since original SR2. New text quest are somewhat fun, but english players receive only a small portion of them as mod authors didn't want to bother with translation. There is of course new campaign, player can choose to switch sides, join pirate brotherhood and fight coalition, but try to play in other way than authors demand it and it will make game impossible to finish. Someone cut corners on good playtests prior release. Overally if you know SR2, stick to original version. If you really want to try "War Apart" wait for decent discount or a freebe. Right now it's not worth the money.
