Whopper little puzzle game. A hundre levels of increasing diffculty, every permutation of the core mechanic you could think off. Whole atmosphere is seemless and easy going. Well worth it. Play it to relax or get it for the kids.
Mostly trying to copy Diablo 1 but with a lot of the design and aesthetic elements of later Bizzard games. Lots of loot to sift through and nothing really interesting story-wise, but it's a fun little diversion and worth a few quid.
Art style is interesting, as is the setting and it's well voiced. The puzzles use a mix of in-game and real world reasoning and it has a great feature where you can ask your companions for extra clues if you're stuck.
It's like a space shooter version+collectathon. Has a cool theme of elemental interactions and manipulating materials that makes for novel, entertaining game-play.
A fairly reasonable sandbox time-killer.
Basically a mash up of a tactics RPG and a tower defence game. Works quite well. Story is basic but it and the level progression provides enough of a hook to keep you playing without it feeling like an endless loop. Acquiring equipment and skills RPG style also gives a fun flavour to the tower defence gameplay.
Nothing else quite like it out there. Great gameplay, charming pixel art and an amazing soundtrack. If you've got no rhythm it's not for you, otherwise it amazing.
Really a unique play experience combining sim genre and real time strategy with a great sense of humour. Loved it as a kid and playing the Deeper Dungeons now. Soundtrack does get a bit repetitive though!
Great game with a sense of humour. Game-play is enjoyable and the story and soundtrack hit all the right notes. Doesn't have any real replay value unfortunately, but the fact that it made my jaded heart want to play it twice says a lot.
Only 4 hours and feels a bit padded towards the end, but the game-play is good and it's certainly stylish. Probably will play a few more runs through it.
