I cannot believe I stumbled across this game only because of the hype about the second part. It. Is. A. Masterpiece. The story is extremely well written, even to the extent of not breaking historical backgrounds. Full of twists, fun, emotions, surprises and danger. A LOT OF DANGER. Did you like RPG marvels like Morrowind and a littly medieval history - KC:D is for you. You're a Skyrim-guy? You will hate it. In KC:D you can do an awful lot of things but have to know what you're doing or you'll end up dead in a ditch. Hit hard by a sword? You'll bleed to death. An arrow to the head? Instant death. Badly injured by a boar in the wilds? Start praying. Want to 100% this game? Forget it. Live and learn from bad decisions. Be cautious. Be prepared. Be fearsome. And sometimes have bath for the ladies. You have to literally learn your skills. And then some. In a world that's full of dangers, poverty and dismay, betrayal and a little bit of love. Wonderful. Truly wonderful. Thank you Warhorse for a game that no AAA-Studio could have made. I am in awe.
