It was 30 years ago when Yugoslav jets flew over our heads and tanks rumbled through the streets. But what we lived through then was not the Yugoslavia that was imagined. The Non-aligned Yugoslavia and its armed forces were a combigned army of many people fighting under one nation, but that was before it tore itself apart. And it was one of the strongest armies in the world. Now you can play as the might YNA and see how its modus operandi was resist and bite, how it was born out of partisan tactics of striking fast and resisting hard. Yugoslavia in this game is also extremely detailed and it shows the devs did their studies. Yugoslavia knew that in the long run they could never keep the enemy out of the land. They would enter it but would be made to regret it. This dlc is quite great and the level of detail and new units is just astounding. This should be an instabuy for any Armored Brigade or wargaming fan.

This is hands down one of the best experiences i had in my life. And by the best i mean the most human experience of flawed characters, human mistakes and just flaws of humanity. The game presents characters that are not heroes, well not in a normal hollywood sense. It gives you options to meet people whos story is their own experience. Its all set in a world ravaged by war and genocide. Imagine the Balkans from the 90s. The world is real its flawed and not perfect, just like the world we all live in now. The music is just perfect and captures the feeling amazingly.

So i already had the intention of buying this game when it was announced, not many games or other media focuses on the resistance in poland. But what cemented my purchase was a review on here from a guy who gave it a 1 star because he thought poland was at fault for being invaded and this game was pure propaganda. But since i studied history among other subjects i can attest that what happened in Poland during the 2 world war was a pure human nightmare for the polish civilians. The game itself is great and fun, and anyone whonliked darkest dungeons and enjoys history (especialy the world wars) will love this game. Buy this game, and try to play it with the thought of all who died, all who resisted and all who endured the hardships and nightmares that the occupation has brought.

Do you remember when you first played Shadow of the Colossus? Do you remember when you died in Dark Souls ? Well this game perfectly takes the soul and feeling of Colossus and infuses it with brutal and ruthless gameplay. Is it all good ? No. But guess what. The game has one of the most beautiful simplistic pixel designs which are reminiscent of SOTC but still totaly unique in its own right. The bosses are beautifuly sculptured and have a soul of their own (no pun intended). The music oh the music. I can listen to it when i go to sleep, walk through the forest, climb a mountain or....fight a giant titan. Its just so beautiful. What about the gameplay ? Well its responsive so every death is on you. The only gripe i have with it is that keyboard and mouse users get the short stick in this bargain. The game was meant to be played with a controller and it shows. But no worries the game is also fun with mouse and keyboard. The whole one arrow one hit kill seemed quite cheap to me at first. But after carefull consideration and gameplay i started feeling it. Its unique , its combat is deep and its helluva rewarding. So do I recommend the game ? Yes i do. Yes i do. Its an experience that i will never forget and i believe many of you may not. Its the feeling i got when i first booted up SOTC. So pick it up. Have fun. Get frustrated. Quit. And start right back up again because this game might stop but you will always carry it in your mind and heart.
