Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Escape

I can't help myself everytime I start playing this game I have a goal to play a certain way and then somebody will push me just that little bit more than they should have and well I find there is a cyber psycho trapped inside of me. Right now I need to continue my hunt for voodoo boys and when there are none left I will return to the story line. Two minor bugs in my latest play through so no complaints from me.

Divinity 2: Developer's Cut

Worth a play

This is a strange game sometimes I am having a great time other times I have to ask what were the devs thinking. They have packed a lot into the game and tried a lot of different things some work some don't. By the time I got to the end I wasn't really using my tower for anything other than storage, I was ignoring new armour and weapons as what I had was doing the job and I just wanted to finish the game. That said I put a lot of hours into getting to the end and I would not have done that if I wasn't having fun.

Cyberpunk 2077

Play it now

I never get games at release anymore been let down way to many times by devs that think the first couple months of a game are it's beta stage. So when I saw all the reviews on this I waited until they got it right then jumped in and had a great gaming experience. Yeah I encountered the odd bug but nothing game breaking or even worth mentioning I missed all the rage quits and PTSD suffered by all those that come before me. This game is Fallout Vegas x Outer Worlds in a cyberpunk setting and much better looking. I would say more but I think I want to replay it right now bye

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Perfect

This game is easily one of the best ever released. After the second game I gave up on this series but a year ago wild hunt was on sale so gave it a go and found out what I had been missing out on. Witcher 3 just nails everything great story, nice easy gameplay I didn't want it to end.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Just not fun

Loved the first game but this one was just a pain to play. I just felt like I was fighting the game mechanics not the monsters.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Still got it even after all this time

Have played this on the original disk then again on steam and now on GOG and every time had a blast. It just nails everything I want from a RPG.

Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition

Still a great game

With BG3 coming out thought it was time to refresh my memory with a replay of the series. Now it's been a long time since I played the original so I can't compare details of the versions but I can say I have recently been replaying a lot of the old games and at times it can be a pain on modern machines and this wasn't. I enjoyed my play through and would say if you are looking to replay the game this version is worth it.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

I had fun

With BG3 coming up thought I would refresh my memory and replay the series. As it has been a long time between games I can't really say if this version is worse than the original all I can say is I had fun playing it again.

Beyond Divinity

Could have been good

You know something is wrong when you are happy the game only crashed to desktop this time instead of having to reboot your whole computer again (and again and again). I have fond memories of Divine Divinity and wondered why I didn't play all the rest in the series then I loaded Beyond Divinity. It all come flooding back to me I had this game on disk and it was not worth playing because of the bugs. Now almost 20 years later I download the GOG version and its still a buggy mess. I noticed the stat the average GOG player time was less than 4 hours and it was soon evident why. There is a good game buried under all the bugs sometimes I could go a couple hours without a crash, lockup, falling out of the game area and being unable to interact with anything, etc. I even enjoyed the character banter and a lot of the gameplay. The ability to jump to battlegrounds to sell your loot was great escaping the prison (after making sure I killed every guard for revenge) hanging in the imp village, talking spiders, being summoned like a common demon (how rude) was all good gameplay/story.............But life is short and there are so many other good games out there that I will never find out how this one ends as this last crash was one too many for me.
