Admittedly, the idea of a political election simulator these days seems like an opportunity for more screaming and yelling and hate. This however kind of puts the fun back into the political process and keeps it simple enough that it is approachable. My main complaints: lack of an electoral college option to better replicate the way real American elections work, and the inability to pick my party color (Such as Green, Yellow, Red, Purple, Orange) which implies a bias in the game (as another review is probably responding to). One of these would be a relatively easy change. Otherwise, I'm having fun with the game.
I am a veteran of the adventure game genre going back to Zork, the Sierra games, and Lucas Arts games. This game hits me in all the right places. Simple interface, beautiful graphics, and a heartfelt story. I cannot reccomend this game highly enough. Sure, it only has about 1-2 hours of play time, but it's fun to play again after you have beaten it. When you fail a task, it is seconds before you get to retry the same task and as such there is no need to save scum your way through the game.
