Mafia: Definitive Edition

Fun remake with some issues.

This game is a remake of the classic Mafia game, while i am not going to touch up on the accuracy of the remake, i am going to go over the technical issues i have been having: these include but are not limited to: Slowdowns Stuttering Crashes at times, or outright hanging of gameplay inconsistant audio audio not playing durring specific cutscenes for seemingly no reason Spotty controller recognition on any controller seemingly at a flip of a coin and also a awful smearing that is on full display with no way to turn it off. the remake is fun, and makes a solid game better, ive played the original to a point, but havent beaten it. this is probably going to be the way going forward i plan to play. do i recommend this game on gog? sure! but it has issues and i am not sure when the issues stated above are going to be fixed. i am running this game on a system of this spec: RTX 3060TI 8GB 16GB DDR4 ram Ryzen 5 5800X 750wat psu windows 11 (will be switching over to st**m-os in a few months) for the settings i am running: 4k 120hz all settings set to low and all motion blur set to their lowest i have also tried 1440p and 1080p, the bottlenecks are the exact same and change in resolution didnt affect the target performance. sense this has been the case ive been just playing at 4k and letting the fps be what it would be. i would rather see more pixels at the cost of the picture looking slightly worse. ( the game at low settings is still mighty nice looking.)
