A rogue-like with incredibly fun, brisk gameplay and loads of charm. Its simplistic at first glance, but there is plenty of detail and depth to the gameplay that rewards players who invest the time and energy. Overcoming the difficulty curve requires a thorough understanding of the game mechanics, which can be gradually sussed out after stacking up an impressive pile of failed runs. The focus is not on creating the best build but finding creative solutions with the build you have. There's a ton of player agency that grows each time you unlock something new. I'm honestly shocked this game never became the cult-classic it deserves to be.
