The game has no map. Or it has one, but it's just decorative. Genius design in a metroid game, where a map is essential. The map doesn't show you where the player is, where save stations are or which rooms still have stuff in them to do. Resident Evil has solved this design problem 20 years ago. I don't know why modern designer are so stupid. But respect for not having difficulty settings. This enable the designers so have a difficult design challenge, which can result in better design. I think the difficulty is good. After 3 hours, I have no motivation to continue, because I the metroid genre has the problem of not telling the player where to go. Again, this was solved with RE 20 years ago. But metroid designer are too stupid to learn.
