Is a well scoped game, the puzles aren't difficult but they require good observation and a good deal of exploration. The characters are cute, as is the rest of the game. A pleasant experience overall, I want to finish it, the story is not super fleshed out but interesting. I want to know what is going on. :)
I get why some people could be dissapointed with the changes, but I love it. Frostpunk 2 is a very different resource management/city builing game, which moves away from the micro-management and focuses in the politics and the expansion across the frostland. It is a pretty natural continuation of the original concept, which naturally changes the way of managing things. It is a very different game mechanically, but retains the spirit of the first game. I think it is better balanced too.
The story is excellently written, is emotive, harsh at times, the first ending I got left me feeling sad but whole in a sense. The gameplay is also very well planned, there is a very well balanced level of tension throughout the whole story, the twists and cliffhangers are cool. And the artwork is gorgeous.
