First of all, Cyberpunk 2077 is my first experience with the Cyberpunk genre. I find the lore and the cast of characters interesting and it hits a lot in the gut due to some issues address in the game. What I enjoyed: > I enjoyed the various options presented to me when addressing enemies. I mostly do the hacking route that was so much fun. > Interesting cast of characters that your V met throughout their journey through Night City. I really love the backstories behind each characters. What I think needs improvement: >Unequal screen time with some of the characters. One example in general: River Ward's character mission. Among the romance options in game, River's mission is very short compare to the other RO in general. Although I find his route interesting and wholesome, I expected some more mission to cultivate their relationship (whether platonic or otherewise). It only took (iirc) three or four missions before River and V to get together (or become BFFs) which is just too abrupt. The love at first sight trope is over done if that what your writers intended to do and I much prefer that River's route was given much care as Judy's, Panam's and Kerry's route. I hope this gets improved in the expansion. >Lack of character customization (editing what your V looked like) and at least an upgrade of your apartment would be an addition especially the former during the initial launch of the game. I does get tiresome to restart when you find out that the eyes or nose you have chosen doesn't feel right. I do still look forward to the expansions especially the story related ones because I hope V could continue their own journey.
