Yes, the game is kinda short... feels more like a demo than a full-length game. But aside from that, it is really enjoyable. Classic point & click with nice atmosphere, logical puzzles, dialogue choices that will alter the ending... I played the Spanish version, and the translation is pretty alright. With more support, this developer could deliver greater and better games, definitely !
Yes, this is more of a "walking simulator" than an actual game. Mechanics are similar to "Hard Rain" or "Detroit: Become Human". Choices may alter some events, but the main storyline remains unaltered. However, the story itself is so well written and engaging, that it really doesn't matter if there's one or multiple endings. I played the Spanish version, and the dubbing is absolutely gorgeous. The story has little resemblance to the original Vertigo movie, but got me hooked from beginning to end. In summary, a fantastic "movie" experience for thriller lovers… and with a fantastic humorous ending answering what seemed to be an unsolved mystery (won't do any spoilers here!)
Very pleasant surprise... ! The Spanish audio is simply awesome, dubbed with very professional voices. Haven't tried the English audio yet. The gameplay is superb as well... reminds me a bit of "There is no game : Wrong Dimension", but with Metal Gear reminiscences. The witty humor present in the game makes it a perfect experience. Overall, a must play !
As a Spanish living in Valencia province during my childhood, this game is simply awesome. From some of the descriptions ( "La roqueta" is the name of the island, which means "small rock" in Valencian / Catalonian language ), it looks like the place is heavily inspired on Valencia's seashore environments. I think it's the very first time in my life I see a videogame depicting a typical Spanish mediterranean scenery. The game is a truly enjoyable little experience, and can be played together with your little ones. My son just got excited trying to find and picture all the animals on the island. Living abroad for many years, it's really nice being able to play this game with my son, and find together all the beautifulness Spanish Mediterranean coasts has to offer. Kudos to the developers !
This game reminds me a lot of an old Amiga classic: [Ruff'n Tumble] http://hol.abime.net/1292 which I enjoyed a lot back in 1994. Haven't played this game yet, but if the gameplay is somehow like this old great title, fun is assured !
