After the first 2 hours of exposition, I can confidently say that CD PROJEKT RED's first game into the Walking Simulator genre was far and away a complete success! Fans of their earlier games will notice that they sprinkle in some elements of combat throughout, as an homage to their earlier games which had combat systems, such as the Witcher series. I encourage every gamer-- sorry, I meant to write "fiction enthusiast" to pick up Phantom Liberty, put a paperweight on your 'W' key, lean back with your popcorn and take in the most purposefully-lit walking simulator of 2023.
